Sable Alley is in the game rich Khwai area, but is located on a private reserve rather than the busier community side. The lodge has a total of 12 rooms, all of which have views over a central lagoon, which hosts a large pod of hippo for the majority of the year. Each room is spacious, with indoor and outdoor shower, and sofas on the viewing decks. The large airy communal area has several areas to relax when you are not heading out on safari, with a pool directly overlooking the waterhole. Activities include game drives, night drives, walks and mokoro trips (dependent on water levels) and guests can also add on a sleepout under the stars on elevated sleeping platforms.
