One of a few houseboats moored on the Chobe River, the Pangolin Voyager is one of the smaller vessels, and offers the chance of non-stop wildlife viewing from the comfort of its decks. The boat has three floors – the five cabins are on the bottom floor, and the lounge and dining area are on the middle floor. The top floor is a sun-deck reserved for game – or star – viewing. The boat has several smaller tender boats available for close up game viewing, and this is a lovely way to see the large bird population in the early morning. Run by the well known Pangolin Safaris, this is an ideal option for keen photographers, as a couple of the tender boats are adapted for specialist camera equipment and photography trips run throughout the year (set departures).
