In a prime location in the Khwai Concession, Machaba Camp overlooks the Khwai river towards the eastern side of the Moremi Game Reserve.  A classic safari camp with ten luxury tents (including two family tents) nestled along paths amongst the large riverine trees and set back from the water’s edge.  The tents have ensuite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers and private verandahs facing the river.

The main area has high ceilings and open sides and great views across the river.  To one side of the camp near the river there is also a pool to cool off from the heat of the day.  Activities focus on game drives and night drives, as well as mokoro trips and walking safaris.  The byword of the camp is ‘affordable luxury’ and the consistent excellent game viewing in the Khwai makes this a fantastic spot for a safari.
