Completely rebuilt and freshly opened in August 2012, Duma Tau is one of Botswana’s finest all round safari camps, with innovative, luxurious accommodation in an outstanding wildlife area in the Linyanti Concession. The entire camp is elevated and connected by wooden walkways, allowing animals to pass underneath and supporting permanent views of the wildlife traffic at the Linyanti River. There are just ten spacious tented rooms with thatched roofs, panoramic windows, luxurious en-suite bathrooms and cosy lounge areas, all overlooking the river or the Zibadianja Lagoon. The main lodge with its bar, lounge and assorted dining spots is also raised with lagoon views, while drinks can be enjoyed at ground level around a campfire.

Game viewing activities are varied, from day and night game drives to walks along the Linyanti River, boating expeditions when water levels are high enough and a selection of wildlife hides, including one at the source of the nearby Savute Channel. This is a great area for lion, cheetah and leopard, with wild dog packs also frequently passing through, while the elephant, hippo, antelope and crocodile presence is significant. With all the surrounding wetland habitats, this is also a real hotspot for varied birdlife, meaning Duma Tau suits a full gamut of tastes and interests.
